1. Acceptance
By using sraccountax.ca, its articles or its public calculators, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website. Separate engagement letters, Bank Statement Converter subscription terms and other signed agreements apply to the services they cover and prevail if they conflict with these terms.
2. General information only
Website content and calculator results are provided for general Canadian educational and preliminary planning purposes. They are not accounting, tax, legal, financial, payroll, investment or other professional advice and are not a substitute for advice based on complete facts. Tax law, rates, administrative positions and filing requirements can change.
3. No engagement or professional relationship
Viewing the website, using a calculator, sending an enquiry or attending an introductory call does not create an accountant-client, adviser-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship. An engagement begins only after SR AccounTax accepts it and both parties agree to its scope and terms. Nothing on this website represents that SR AccounTax will provide an audit, review, assurance opinion, legal representation or investment advice.
4. Calculator limitations and user responsibility
Calculators use simplified assumptions and may omit deductions, credits, surtaxes, premiums, benefit repayments, special elections, provincial rules, payroll details and individual circumstances. Do not use a result to prepare or file a return, calculate remittances, make a legal filing or complete a material transaction. Confirm current official requirements and review all inputs and outputs independently.
5. Tegh AI
Tegh provides automated general information, website navigation, plan and account links, a general enquiry form and access to simplified planning calculators. Its responses may be incomplete or incorrect and must be independently reviewed. Sending an enquiry through Tegh does not create an engagement, and Tegh must not be used to submit a SIN, tax record, banking detail, payment-card number, credential or confidential document. Calculator arithmetic is produced by the website’s deterministic formulas; Tegh’s explanation does not turn the estimate into professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the public website for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You must not interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, overload or scrape protected systems, impersonate another person, misrepresent calculator results as professional advice or use the website to violate law or another person’s rights.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, original articles, calculator presentation, branding and other original materials are owned by SR AccounTax. You may link to public pages and print a reasonable copy for personal reference. You may not republish, sell, frame or systematically reproduce substantial parts of the website without written permission. Government source material and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
8. Third-party services and links
Links to government pages, Google, social networks and other third parties are provided for convenience. SR AccounTax does not control their availability, content, security or privacy practices and does not endorse all content available through them.
9. Availability and changes
The website may be changed, corrected, suspended or withdrawn without notice. SR AccounTax does not promise uninterrupted access or that every error will be found. A displayed review date states when content was last reviewed; it is not a guarantee that no later change has occurred.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. SR AccounTax is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website content, calculator estimates, unavailable pages, third-party services or a user’s failure to verify information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Never send a SIN, tax slip, banking detail, password, identification document or confidential record through the public enquiry form.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to enquiry@sraccountax.ca or discussed by calling +1 289-623-2381.
